Nose

A little nail polish and leather book covers. Maraschino cherries. Quite meaty – BBQ chicken with lime and honey. There is a pastry note too, fresh baked croissants.

Palate

Sweet with lots of apricot and vanilla sugar. Pastries with icing sugar. A little peppery with some lovely spiced notes. Then the wood tannins come through.

Finish

Dries with those great oak notes, cherry cola and vanilla pods.

Comment

A class Bourbon, with some interesting cocktail potential. Also a good straight sipper too.
