Nose

Initially, a note of cardboard and chalk, then toasted brown bread and linseed. Porridge oats and watered-down honey, too.

Palate

Chocolate milk, then toasted oats and vanilla ice cream before burning hay and chilli.

Finish

Medium length with quite a prickle around the front and sides of the palate.

Comment

I’m intrigued by this whisky — the nose wasn’t my favourite, but the palate left me wanting to come back for another sip.
