Nose

Initial sour citrus notes — a bag of Haribo Tangfastics, a sprinkle of lemon, a squeeze of lime. Then it gets more earthy with mushrooms, both oyster and chestnut.

Palate

None of the sourness from the nose. There’s a hint of rhubarb, but predominantly a variety of mushrooms and nutmeg, along with a slight waxy component.

Finish

Medium. Initially smooth, becoming sharper.

Comment

For me, its earthiness was a distraction. I wish more of the gorgeous sour aromas had translated to the palate.
