Nose
Huge, sweet and heavy. Lots of muscovado sugar, hot gorse, honey flapjacks, plum skin. Loads of oak but a fresh broom (plant) note. Mature, but with a mysterious sense of decay at the heart of this loveliness.
Palate
Smooth and fat. Toasted almond drenched in honey, ripe peaches some sweet dried fruits and scented woods.
Finish
Ripe, smooth and dry.
Comment
Aberfeldy on steroids.
