Nose

Seville marmalade, dried apricots, mango juice and bark mulch. Cinder toffee and burnt crème brûlée. Fresh blueberry and Greek yoghurt. Nutmeg and cinnamon.

Palate

Caramel, nutmeg and candied orange up front. Herbal, like sweet vermouth. Tannins add structure, but coffee caramel sweets balance it. Stewed fruits linger. Fresh blackberry, too.

Finish

Medium length. The apricot lingers, with a touch of fresh ginger and coffee cake.

A delightful balance of tannin, spice and dried fruit.
