Nose

A pleasant soft wood spice, alongside frankincense, orange peel, and brown sugar. With water, a bit of honey and nuts.

Palate

Peanuts, both in butter and roasted form, as well as blanched almonds. While the nose doesn’t hint at the ABV, there’s more heat on the palate. Some molasses and chewy black liquorice, too.

Finish

Fairly light and creamy, with a note of caramel butter and wood spice.

Comment

Great nose that hooked me in but wanted a bit more complexity from the palate. Overall, definitely enjoyable.
