Nose

Dark chocolate, black cherry, coffee bean, treacle and Jamaican ginger cake. Muscovado-covered baked banana. Subtle soy sauce.

Palate

Medium. Juicy red berries and cinnamon, with some clove and star anise. Caramel and under-ripe pear. Intense milk chocolate, then growing heat as tannins and dark fruits come to bear. Subtle spearmint leaf. With time, the toffee notes win out.

Finish

Medium. The heat builds, alongside camphorwood and resinous notes.
