Nose

A sweet chewiness, like fresh meringue or vanilla marshmallow. Lemon panna cotta, pear flesh, and oaty biscuits with mascarpone and honey. Chestnut, cinnamon, and ripe melon.

Palate

Sweet up front, like pavlova with raspberry, peach, and apricot. Hard caramels and chocolate chips. Demerara sugar in black coffee. Black cherry jam. Then spiced tea loaf, nut oil, and dates.

Finish

Medium, drying out with gentle woody spice.

Comment

Well integrated and well balanced. A little water brings out some caramel and chocolate truffle.
