Tasting Notes

Nose

Very herbal and a little meaty, reminiscent of grilled pork chop and parsley. White pepper spice and the tartness of gooseberry jam, slightly earthy too – more damp rocks, mineral edges rather than earthy. A little lime peel too.

Palate

That herbal edge leads, chamomile and oak aged Chardonnay. Then the layers of fruit appear – green apples, pears and raspberries. Then the spices kick in.

Finish

Clean and crisp like a decent white wine, slowly the spices build.

Comment

A perfect balance between spicy and refreshing.
