Tasting Notes

Nose

A little closed off and needs a little water to get going. Burnt banana skin, kiwi and almond butter with undertones of mildew creating an almost dusky element.

Palate

Fruity, woody and herbaceous. The banana skin definitely carries through onto the palate with cement, charred oak, honeydew melon peel and yoghurt covered raisins piercing through it.

Finish

Dry and chalky with a slight metallic edge to it.

Comment

Opening a cupboard on a hot day, whilst sipping banana smoothie.
