Tasting Notes

Nose

Pungent, complex. Smoked eel, coal tar, applewood, smoked cheese, bitumen. Frisky.

Palate

Intensely peaty. Rounded with big kick: marine character, fragrant smoke, touch of black pepper, but balanced by sufficient sweetness.

Finish

Smoke belch.

Comment

Excellent. Lagavulin isn't as peaty as it used to be? Pull the other one.
