Nose
Tinned peaches, cantaloupe, coconut cream, and a little pink grapefruit. Pillowy focaccia with sea salt and olive oil. Cloudy lemonade. Subtle salinity.
Palate
Very gentle herbaceous peat notes. Charred leek, sharp Dijon mustard, and a little more olive oil. Then wheat cereal biscuits with warm milk, honeyed apricot and peach, and vanilla milkshake.
Finish
Long, on creamy lemon and white chocolate with a little herbal smoke. A hint of sticking plaster at the very end.
Comment
A top-notch Islay malt: lighter, sweeter, and a bit moreish.
