Nose
Very pale colour. Smoky. Creosote. Farmyard, wet straw. Iodine. Fish oil. A\rslight cheese note.
Palate
Sweet then followed by a dry spicy outburst. Fizzy. The cheese note is there. Reminds me of Roquefort cheese tanginess.
Finish
Dry, burning, numbing.
Comment
This whisky seems to have matured in tired casks. Quite harsh. Water cuts the edges but does not give it style.
