Nose

Pottery workshop, eucalyptus and coal smoke. A whiff of pine. Aniseed balls and cedarwood. Maraschino liqueur (cherry, almond, wood bark, earthy) and top notes of pear drop.

Palate

Light-medium. Smoked toffees and sweetened espresso with condensed milk – like a coffee liqueur. Milk chocolate with caramel pieces. Some earthy notes, but now hazelnut and walnut.

Finish

Long, on those sweet coffee liqueur notes.

Comment

Like drinking a log cabin in the woods, which feels appropriate given its origins.
