Nose

A little shy at first, but opens up a bit with time. Cedar wood with cinnamon, allspice, furniture polish, and black treacle. Black cherries, plum wine, blackcurrant cordial, and sweet pipe tobacco.

Palate

Hot and tingly, but mellows out. There’s more cinnamon and toffee, milk chocolate, brioche, camp coffee and blackcurrant wine gums. A little coriander seed and cumin, with more allspice.

Finish

Quite hot, with allspice and dark chocolate there.

Comment

Tasty, but needs a touch of water to tame the heat.
