Nose

An initial menthol note, followed by baking spices and cedarwood. Then toasted almonds, warm dried apricots, and honey.

Palate

Initially fruity but that dries out quickly. There’s orange peel, apricot tatin and graham wafer biscuits then dried mint and some paint.

Finish

Quite drying and woodsy, with some dark liquorice.

Comment

Sits fairly heavy on the palate with a lingering bitterness but the initial aroma is pleasant and intriguing.
