Tasting Notes

Nose

A mixed bag that hits you all at once. Chocolate oranges, a little coconut laced sea salt, liquorice root. Fruity with tinned mandarin pieces, honey on toasted white sourdough. Gentle and delicate smoke to it.

Palate

Sweetness initially, then that peat starts to hit home. Orange pith sweetness and heather honey.

Finish

Short and drying with plenty of smoke hanging around.

Comment

Felt like there was a disconnect with the nose and palate, but it all came together really well in the end. Decent stuff.
