Nose

Raw barley and a hint of straw. Pear drop and manuka honey. Muesli with sultanas and walnuts. Tinned peach and a hint of crème fraiche.

Palate

Medium-full. Flapjack with dried apricot. Caramelised white chocolate. Vanilla latte. Weak black tea with lemon slices. A little baked pear with the sweet-spiciness of mulled wine. Water brings out more honey and orchard fruit.

Finish

Medium. On oat, honey, and pear.

Comment

An enjoyable and well-formed character which is pleasantly softened with a little water.
