Nose

So pale as to be see-through and takes a minute to breathe in the glass. There’s an almost mezcal-like note here, some pepper and funk, then a touch of brioche and vanilla sugar.

Palate

Very soft — like gentle lapping waves against a shore. There’s a little salt brine, some ashy smoke, and a touch of vanilla.

Finish

Fairly lengthy as the ashy smoke sticks around on the tongue for a while along with a nice bit of peppery spice.

Comment

Give it a little time and this whisky delivers a lot.
