Nose
What a surprise!Briny, leather, currants, reminding me of being by the sea. Definitely oily and waxy with deep malty notes.
Palate
A delicacy, sweet barley, biscuits, freshly buttered toast, a bit of almond moving into orange and cacao nibs without ever forgetting the presence of this fine brine and faint smoke.
Finish
Oily and full bodied, crisp and oaky iodine.
Comment
Enjoyable, from the first whiff to the last sip. One I could sip endlessly by a fire.
