Nose

Lots of buttery pastry to start here: fresh warm croissants especially. Then caramel and almond nougat, a bit of cooked apricot and melon too.

Palate

Amazing texture on the palate here — oily and completely mouth coating. There’s a touch of grass that balances out the sweetness that perfectly matches the nose. Some tropical fruit.

Finish

More of the very gentle smoke comes through, which lasts long.

A complex and sublime little whisky, with a wonderful mouthfeel.
