Nose

Rum-raisin ice cream. Syrupy ginger cake and applesauce. High-cocoa dark chocolate, pipe tobacco, Hot Cross buns (yeasted dough, currants, candied peel), marzipan, and a touch of rosewater.

Palate

Light-medium bodied. Orange zest, crème caramel, and syrupy cooked plums. Cocoa powder-dusted chocolate brownies. Beeswax and a little old leather. Black cherry yoghurt and Florentines.

Finish

Long, on the rum-raisin notes and candied orange peel.

Comment

A great balance of dark, richer notes and fruit freshness.
