Nose

Iced cinnamon Danish pastries. Warmly spiced apple compote. Smoked cheddar cheese and oat cakes. Rich caramel and nutty notes, like caramelised pecans. Hints of dry grassy spice.

Palate

Light-medium. Smoked cheese and crispy bacon come first. Then raspberry-ripple ice cream with lots of caramel sauce. Buttered malt loaf, nutty oat flapjacks, and a hint of dried cranberry.

Finish

Long, on subtle bacon, black pepper, and buttered rye bread.

Comment

Surprisingly light texture. The smoky notes were nicely balanced.
