Taster
Nose: Black cherry sauce, blackberry jam, spearmint leaf, and leather-bound books. Aromatic, resinous woods, like sandalwood and oud. Treacle tart and hedgerows. Burnt pastry and cumin.
Palate: Medium-full. Pomegranate juice, charred pineapple, toffee, chocolate fudge brownie, and olive oil. Stewed apples, pears, and fruits of the forest. Brown sugar pastry twists. A little sage, too.
Finish: Medium-long. Brown sugar remains as the herbal note builds.
Comment: Wonderfully full flavoured, mature, and eminently drinkable.
Score: 8.6

Finish: Long. Peanut butter and bacon.
Comment: A tasty and warming campfire whisky.
