Nose

Upfront is a cream bun, yuzu, clementine and a touch of aloe. Chamomile tea and honey, too. Vanilla sponge and very faint lily. A hint of pan-fried salmon skin lurks behind the citrus.

Palate

Light-medium bodied, with a slight ‘effervescent’ tingle. Yuzu is upfront, with green apple and white grape. Sugared almonds and a touch of vanilla ice cream.

Finish

Short-medium. The sugared almond note rises and then falls away, leaving apple skin.

Comment

A bright and clean dram, evocative of spring.
