Nose

Delicate cut pine, slightly sappy, with lemon zest, pear drop and sweet pastry. Gooseberry jam, blossom honey and plain fromage frais. Subtle cardamom and buttered sourdough with burnt crust. In time, very subtle pipe smoke.

Palate

Light-medium. The citrus and subtle sappy notes are joined by a faintly smoky and medicinal edge, but this fades quite quickly and clementine, vanilla and pear drop notes emerge.

Finish

Short-medium length. Faint almond, then green apple skin.
