Nose

Cigarette ash, barbecue coals, rendering beef fat, and a little charred lemon. Toasted marshmallow. Crystallised and roasted pineapple.

Palate

Light-medium. Sweet peat smoke wraps the tongue, with barbecued banana, peach and pineapple, well-done brown toast, and hints of pork and rosemary. Still a hint of toasted marshmallow sweetness, leaning into s’mores.

Finish

Long, with waves of charred fruit and smoke.

If there was ever an Islay malt made for hot, sunny days, this is it. Light and flavourful.
