Nose
A good punch without water, there’s green grass and some hay, sea water, and vanilla pods. With water, it’s more subtle with some gooseberries and rhubarb crumble.
Palate
There’s a real outdoors, farm note here — again, that fresh hay — then, some meadow flowers, a touch of something smoky, and some freshly baked pastries.
Finish
A fairly lengthy finish with a lot of heat at the front of the tongue without water.
Comment
Quite tasty, though it took a bit of time to open up. Water helped this.
