Tasting Notes

Nose

Intense, malty with an earthy note. Bracken, touch of humus. Digestive biscuits. On time, cooked fruit. Stewed apples with raisins.

Palate

Smooth and round. Satin-like. Oak and fruit are well integrated. Hazelnut toffee, cooked fruit again. A touch of ginger.

Finish

Concentrated, drying on spices and liquorice root.

Comment

A perfectly balanced dram. Mature, smooth and pleasant all the way.
