Nose

Phenolic. An asphalted road in summer after a heavy shower. Sweet grassy notes rise up behind the tar and smoke. Lemon balm. Vanilla syrup.

Palate

Round and sweet. The alcohol is perfectly mastered. Not as smoky as expected. Juicy pear. Getting spicy.

Finish

Dry, with a slight sooty feel.

Comment

Refreshing and well balanced. The nose promises more than it delivers on the palate. I have never come across such a phenolic HP.
