A vibrant character, especially on the palate. Refreshing but with a bite.

Tasting Notes

Martine Nouet

Taster

Nose: Malty and grassy. Drying hay. Flowery. Honeysuckle. Lemon drops. Refreshing. With water it gives more grassy notes.

Palate: Sweet at first then following by a spicy outburst. Lemon posset. Ginger ale. Herbal tea (specifically aniseed and lemon grass).

Finish: Spicy, dry and lingering too.

Comment: A vibrant character, especially on the palate. Refreshing but with a bite.

Score: 7.5

Taster

Nose: This is like a hay barn just after harvest. Warm dry straw, that slight sweet smell. Then citrus notes come through, Key Lime pie and lemon essence.

Palate: Big sweet merignue notes, laced with ginger and cinnamon. There is a herbal edge too, camomile and ginger.

Finish: Long and fresh.

Comment: This is one for post dinner, forget that limoncello stuff, this will revive you.
