Nose
Lots of heavy wet campfire to start, then some melted butter, marzipan, and roasted pecans.
Palate
Fairly gentle on the palate and the smoke becomes lingering rather than so rich. Lots of fruit comes through here: some roasted banana and warm pineapple, then a touch of toffee and green grass.
Finish
Lengthy with a nice peppery kick that stays on the tongue.
Comment
A bit of a brooding Speysider — well balanced and one for chilly damp nights.
