Nose

Opens with an unexpected note of frankincense, alongside baked lemon pudding. With time in the glass it settles to reveal coconut panna cotta, coconut oil, orange peel, and a floral note.

Palate

Complex palate with notes of toasted coconut, coconut oil, lime zest, Werther’s Originals, and some cedar, rubber, and vanilla.

Finish

Medium length, with coconut persisting.

Comment

Quite an interesting whiskey, really dominated by that coconut in a slightly Malibu-like way. Some pleasant notes but not the most balanced.
