Nose

Deep aromas of fat corn and toffeed oak. Some herbal rye notes liven but the oak is dense, dominating with a creamy French oak character. Some earthy tannins come through.

Palate

Full of oily corn and lightly toffeed oak. Again the oak becomes very creamy and French-like with hints of violet. The rye is herbal, but a little subdued. The alcohol balances the oak and stops the palate becoming flabby.

Finish

Very long with lingering creamy oak, joined by some gritty, coffeed tannins.
