Nose
My granny’s kitchen cupboard jam packed with apple laces, followed with marzipan and the aroma of prickly summer heat. Sesame oil, chargrilled pineapple slices and herbal mint.
Palate
Rich and chewy with stewed apples, cinnamon and dark chocolate treacle. Wood polish and white pepper creep through with a split second burst of grapefruit juice.
Finish
Full and long with a chewy, nutty finish.
Comment
This seems to be a dark horse with a split personality. In a good way.
