Nose: Creamy. Leafy.

Palate: Rich, dark flavours. Lots of sherry. The body is light, soft and smooth.

Finish: Big, warming, soothing.

Comment: An especially rich sherryish bottling. Voluptuous. With the afterdinner chocs.

Taster

Nose: Firm, spicy and oaky. Night stocks, black fruits, cinnamon and nutmeg. Walking in the pines after rain.

Palate: A floral start with some soft fruits. Firm structure, toffee, oak/pine. Good balance.

Finish: Firms up. Lots of spice.

Comment: The same underlying fruity character as the distillery bottling but this is more structured and spicy. Take your pick, they're both very fine.
