Nose

Behind the high ABV, there lies a gentle sweet floral note — some rose, a bit of orange peel, some fresh mango. With water, much more bright citrus comes through, alongside a very pleasant woodiness, and passion fruit.

Palate

Big and bold on the palate, naturally, but the fruit follows the nose. With water, there’s lychee, cantaloupe melon, green apples, and vanilla.

Finish

Shorter than expected but pleasant.

A complex and interesting whisky — needs water but then it really delivers.
