Nose

French toast with cinnamon, ricotta cheese and crème anglaise. A little fresh blueberry, with the merest hint of rooibos and nettle tea with blossom honey.

Palate

Light-medium bodied. Clementine, slightly pithy, with apple-flavoured boiled sweets. More blossom honey, malt biscuits and icing. A hint of bison grass.

Finish

Medium, with apple and vanilla.

Comment

Exhibit A in the contemporary gallery at the Scotch whisky show. Not too complex, but well balanced and flawless. Showing promise.
