Nose
A whack of woodsmoke and After Eight mint chocolates. There’s some cucumber and pear drop. Umeshu plum and watermelon. A sweet mushroom note lingers in the back.
Palate
Light bodied, but a little hot. Somewhat medicinal. Retronasal rubber glove aromas. Iodine and shellfish salinity. In time, toffee sweetness and pear drop. Water brings out a touch of sour cream.
Finish
Medium, ending on hot smoked salmon and green apple.
Comment
I suspect those bromophenols are working hard here. This will divide opinion.
