Surprising. Seems subdued at first, then shines through when oxygenated.

Taster

Nose: Restrained at first. Creamy and fruity. Stewed apricots in vanilla and spices. Milk chocolate. Slowly reveals its complexity.

Palate: Round, unctuous at start, then becoming sherbety, somewhat fizzy. Lots of dried fruit. Liquorice. A kentuckied cognac?

Finish: Long, drying, spicy (coriander, ginger) with a slight astringence. Touch of passion fruit.

Comment: Surprising. Seems subdued at first, then shines through when oxygenated.

Score: 8

Taster

Nose: Soft and very gentle. Peanut brittle, sloe berry. Orange Pekoe tea, privet blossom, dry spices, caramelised orange. Subtle and balanced.

Palate: A slow soft start. Sweet tobacco. Ripe black fruits. Orange peel. Long and generous.

Finish: Long and sweet.

Comment: The softest and least in-yer-face. Just a slow steady flow of flavour. Recommended.
