Nose
Estery, salty and fruity (peach slices and baked apples). With water up comes fennel, satsuma and melon. Also a husky, gristy character.
Palate
Fruity, tingly and lightly peaty.
Finish
Dry and biscuity.
Comment
A pleasant and balanced malt with a definite island character, but given the choice available from this great distillery, it pales.
