Nose

This started curiously, like the underside of a sheepskin rug, mushrooms and a little wood-glue. It soon settled down and fruity notes appeared, freshly cut red grapes, lemon, and sweet warmed bread.

Palate

Lemony with malty breadiness.

Finish

Relatively short, and a little sweet soap.

Comment

Had potential, but a shame to see such a poor cask bottled.
