Nose

Caramel cookie, leaning toward stroopwafel, and a hint of suntan lotion. White peach and macadamia nut. Hints of clove and nutmeg, orange marmalade, light vanilla custard, and toffee apple.

Palate

Light-medium bodied. Caramel sauce-coated apple slices. Thick-cut orange marmalade on lightly toasted bread. A touch of tamarind and black pepper, with a hint of well-stewed black tea.

Finish

Long. Sweetened black tea swells, and the macadamia nut returns.

Comment

I like the malt character, which holds its own against the cask.
