Nose

Husky. Farley’s Rusks, soya milk, golden syrup, and creamy milk chocolate. Hot buttered brown toast. Coriander seed, ground ginger, golden raisins, porridge, and a little saffron.

Palate

Medium. Orange marmalade on sourdough toast. Spicy crystallised ginger. Black treacle, Parma ham, coriander seed, black pepper, and nigella seed. With time, chocolate malted milkshake.

Finish

Medium-long. On pithy orange juice and hints of rose petal and spearmint.

Comment

A sweet and spicy delight with well-integrated alcohol.
