Nose

Crisp with sweet corn, linseed oil coated rye bread and darker, wheat notes. The oak is well hidden but develops with time as do some sour mash notes.

Palate

Fuller and malty with treacle, rye bread and bitter chocolate notes. Hints of almond oil, sour dough, spice and wheat/bran flakes on the middle. \n

Finish

Quite bitter, sour and spicy, enhanced by the alcohol but the treacle offers some balance, well, sort of! \n

Comment

Intriguing and contemplative. In fact it goes rather well with Green and Blacks organic milk chocolate!
