Nose

Earthy, funky and fruity, like a Port-washed hard cheese served with plump, juicy grapes, but still has that contrastingly fragrant edge with rose essence and cherry blossom.

Palate

Oily and sweet, with a lovely earthiness – Tawny Port, muscovado sugar, raisins and crumbly Dundee cake with a touch of baking spice.

Finish

Nutty and dry, all flaked toasted almonds and cocktail cherries.

Comment

Refreshingly different. I would definitely love to try this with some Comté cheese.
