Nose

Fruity, with orange ice lolly character, brass plates, a riding school tack room, raspberries and dried apricots on vanilla ice cream with toffee sauce. Masala chai too.

Palate

Rye bread. Raisin, cherry and sultana fruit cake with butter. Drying yet sweet cocoa nibs, leather and tobacco spices.

Finish

Bitter dark chocolate, chopped hazelnuts and powdered ginger with a box of Sun Maid raisins.

Comment

The rye spice is tempered by grain. Dry leathery note is a great foil to the sweeter characters.
