Tasting Notes

Nose

Pillowy soft nose — a lot of depth without shouting alcohol. Melting brown sugar that gives way to a fruitiness of baked strawberries, before almost a cotton candy note. Oranges.

Palate

Exceptional balance. There’s a thick sweetness of chewy toffee but then a huge burst of fruit: mangoes, guava, plus some blackcurrant.

Finish

Softly woody with just a touch of bitterness lingering alongside the fruit.

Comment

An outstanding whisky with depth, balance, and interest.
