Age: 21 Years Old
Style: Pot Still
Country: Republic of Ireland
Wet granite and flint at first. Then rhubarb, russet apple, red currant and pomegranate – all quite dry.
Mulchy ripe fruits. Cordite at full strength but water reduced this. Warm sheds. Lots of blackcurrant cordial which lingered.
Rather cloying texture, smoother with water.
The blackcurrant flavours washed the more subtle spices away.
