Nose
Fragrant. Light fruits, fresh pear, creamy and zingy-ginger beer? There's smoke and a hint of green, sappy sticks.
Palate
It rolls nicely in the mouth. Elegant, with little spikes of flavour: nut, grass and flowers laid on top. Light and delicate. Soft, clean and quite floral.
Finish
It all zips into life at the end.
Comment
This remains a cracking dram. Shame the distillery is being bulldozed. No, make that a disgrace.
